ZODIACS
|
Zodiac style boats
Seafun uses the latest generation of safe and indestructible zodiac-style
boats similar to those used by the coast guard for all weather rescue operations.
Passenger comfort is assured by providing each passenger with proper
fitting protective wear consisting of a full thermal survival suit,
gloves and sunglasses. Sea-sick wrist bands are provided free to any
passenger who may be susceptible to motion-sickness. Incidents of motion
sickness are less than 1 in 500 due to the unique motion of these vessels.
Dry storage is provided for each passenger under the thickly padded and
specially sprung seats. Seafun Safari boats are the very first "rigid-hull
inflatable boats with full "stand-up" toilet facilities on board.
Everybody STAYS comfortable!
Safety is assured due to the watertight reinforced aluminum hull coupled
with surrounding hypalon "tubes" for additional stability in rough weather.
Twin engines provide 250 h.p. each and make the boats 60 m.p.h. capable.
Cruise speed is about 33 knots. Sophisticated electronic communication
and navigation equipment such as marine radio, cellular telephone, 24 mile
radar, global satellite positioning system (GPS) coupled to electronic
charting and a water activated emergency position indicating radio beacon
(EPIRB), round out our very superior safety package.

SCARAB
|
Our Scarab, Serengeti
This is our flagship, an amazing experience of supreme comfort and luxury
in an open boat. This vessel has all the advantages of an open style boat
for wild-life viewing, but pampers passengers with a smooth and exhilarating
ride even in rough water. Positive foam-flotation makes this boat unsinkable
and despite its low and sleek appearance, has a standing-headroom washroom
with electric toilet flush and pressure water at the hand-basin.
Guests on this boat wear optional thermal jackets and rain pants. All the
extras we offer on the zodiacs are made available on the “Serengeti” as well.

ENCLOSED CAT
|
Enclosed catamaran
A warm heated interior provides comfortable forward facing seating for all
passengers. Large windows give unobstructed views. Guests are able to go
onto the rear open deck or onto the upper open viewing deck when this boat
makes its various stops to view wildlife.
On this boat your wear your “street clothes”. Dress warmly with layered
wear so you can discard a jacket or sweater indoors.
